Experience
As an experienced teacher with over 20 years' experience supporting children and young people across a range of educational settings, I understand both how children learn and how schools work.
I spent six years working with the British Dyslexia Association, supporting secondary schools across Somerset and Bristol with diagnostic assessments and exam access arrangements.
Complex learning profiles
Dyslexia often occurs alongside other differences, so it is not uncommon for children to have a more complex or uneven learning profile. I have particular experience supporting learners with differences in attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, processing, coordination, communication and sensory or physical needs.
While I do not formally diagnose all areas of need, I can help you understand what you are seeing, guide you through the next steps and connect you with trusted professionals where needed.
